Meet Our Principal

Dr. Deepti Tripathi

Ever since my student days when I first heard the name of this prestigious institution, I always aspired to be a part of it….however I was not fortunate enough to join it as a student, but later in life, I started my career as an Assistant Professor at the Geeta Bajaj Teacher Training College.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been granted the opportunity to be a part of the Geeta Bajaj Sansthan and its Senior Management, and to lead the reputed College while we carry forward its high moral and ethical values and glorious traditions. During my long journey with the College- 17 years as a lecturer and now three years as Principal, I have always strived to work towards taking it to the pinnacle of success and to contribute to the great legacy of our glorious past. In this mission I get full cooperation from all my fellow lecturers and our supporting staff as well as our Sansthan Management.

Needless to say, I am enjoying being a part of this Family…

Dr. Deepti Tripathi

Staff Working Committees

Various committees have been formed in the college to conduct all the activities smoothly. These committees are assigned specific tasks and members of faculty who have specific interest, attitude and desire to work are made members and heads of these committees.

Discipline Committee

Self discipline and self-control are the foremost attributes necessary for progress and personality development of a person. A person cannot be called educated in the true sense if he or she is not disciplined. Our college, which follows the teachings of Gandhi ji, tries to inculcate this attribute in its students in all aspects of life. This committee comprises Dr. Deepti Tripathi and Smt. Koshalya Saini.

Library Advisory Committee

The job of this committee is to recommend books, journals, magazine etc. to enrich the library and knowledge of students and faculty members. Moreover this committee also looks into matters related to maintenance, purchase of books and journals and development of other facilities in the library. This committee includes  Dr. Deepti Tripathi, Smt. Neena Sharma, and Smt. Sangita Chauhan.

Grievance Redressal Committee

Ours is a women’s training college. This committee is formed to resolve issues related to any type of  harassment and personal issues which our students can’t share with anyone. A complaint box  has been placed in the college where students can  drop a note with their problems without mentioning their name, depending on the nature of problem. This committee comprises Dr. Deepti Tripathi, and Smt. Kusum Lata Tak.

Guidance and Counselling cell

The aim of proper education is not only to teach students but also to give them right direction and developing in them ability of solving their problems. This cell  has been formed to solve the problems of our students related to personal issues, placement and career growth, further studies etc. The teachers included in this cell are Smt. Neena Sharma and Smt. Kusum Lata Tak.

Sports Committee

A sound mind lives in a sound body. It endeavours to keep our students fit and healthy and for this purpose, various games and sports activities are conducted regularly. We have facilities of many outdoor and indoor games for our students. It has Dr. Kumud  and Smt. Saroj Tailor as members of this Advisory Committee for development of sports activities and purchase of new sports equipment.
